APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID

The financial aid application process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To file the FAFSA, you must apply online at https://fafsa.gov.

Note: You may be selected for verification. If selected, the Financial Aid Office will contact you by mail. You will be required to provide a Transcript from the IRS (and, if necessary, your parents') before your aid can be finalized. You can obtain a transcript by calling 1-800-908-9946 or online at http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

After you have been accepted, the financial aid office will send Pell Grant/Student Loan Eligibility Notification explaining your financial aid awards. The U.S. Department of Education will send a Student Aid Report (SAR) to your e-mail account (or mail, if you did not specify an e-mail account on your FAFSA) after you file the FAFSA.

The Practical Nursing Program does NOT qualify for the NYS TAP program.
