Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Lead and direct all aspects of human resources operations, policies, and programs.
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and values.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
Provide leadership in employee engagement, performance management, and professional growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. This leadership role requires someone who embodies kindness, leads with emotional intelligence, and promotes a culture of inclusivity, trust, and respect across all levels of the organization.

COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience and certification held in keeping with the current agreement. This is a 12-month position. Health insurance, which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax, deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous vacation, sick and personal day policies.
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Either: New York State certification as a School District Administrator (SDA), School Business Administrator (SBA), School District Leader (SDL), School District Business Leader (SDBL) or School Administrator.
OR
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a master's degree in public or business administration, personnel, political science, industrial relations or related field and three years of experience in personnel administration or labor relations, which shall have included either position classification, recruitment, employee selection or negotiating or administering employee contracts;
OR
(B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, personnel, political science, industrial relations or related field and four years of experience in personnel administration or labor relations, which shall have included either position classification, recruitment, employee selection or negotiating or administering employee contracts;
OR
(C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above. (Applicant must meet civil service requirements and pass a civil service examination with results being reachable status).
