The Jack. J. Boak, Jr. Educational Center is the home to the Lewis County ACES program and is located behind St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lowville, NY.
The building is named in honor of Jack. J. Boak, who served at Jefferson-Lewis BOCES in various capacities from 1983 -2014, including District Superintendent. In making the designation in 2014, the Board of Education cited his commitment to providing high quality services to the school districts of Northern New York, earning him the respect of students, teachers, parents, principals and superintendents.
The building contains a number of classrooms and a gymnasium utilized by ACES students and faculty. The Lewis County ACES program students in the Adirondack, Beaver River, Copenhagen, Inlet, Lowville, South Lewis and Town of Webb School Districts.
