The Charles H. Bohlen, Jr. Technical Center in Watertown, NY recently held its annual awards ceremony for the Class of 2024. Three hundred fifty-one students were recognized for their accomplishments in completing one the following programs: Auto Body, Automotive Technology, Building Projects, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts Baking, Culinary Arts Cooking, Early Childhood Education, Electrical Wiring Technology, Electronic & Computer Technology, Heavy Equipment, Hospitality Services, Medical Assistant, Motorcycle, Marine & Power Sports, New Vision Health, Nursing Assistant, Plumbing/HVAC, Veterinary Practices, Visual Communications, and Welding.
The ceremony was held in front of friends and family at the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown, NY on June 13, 2024. The students will receive certificates stating they have successfully completed their CTE program requirements.
Two hundred and two eligible students were recognized for earning Career & Technical Endorsement. This endorsement signifies a completion of a New York State approved Career & Technical Education curriculum along with passing a written and practical industry standard exam, as well as completion of a senior project and presentation.
