Jefferson-Lewis BOCES recently celebrated the accomplishments of the newest graduates of the Adult Practical Nursing program with a commencement ceremony held June 24, 2021. Eleven graduates make up this latest class. This graduation event was held in person at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown, NY with family members of the graduates in attendance.
Each graduate took part in the ceremonial pinning as well as the reciting of the Florence Nightingale Pledge. The pledge is traditionally recited by nursing graduates in ceremonies across the country and is named in honor of the founder of modern nursing.
