It was a proud moment for friends and family as they witnessed ten extraordinary individuals walking down the aisle to claim their high school diploma as part of the 32nd annual Commencement for the Adult Education High School Equivalency degree program.
The graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown.
Shana Roach was among those who graduated and delivered one of three commencement remarks delivered during the evening.
“I must say, I am beyond proud and happy with myself that even at the age of 40 and being out of school for over 20 years, I was able to reach my goal,” she said. “Proving to myself and my kids that anything is possible, if you want it bad enough."
